Romans 8:31

What shall we then say to these things?
If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

Paul asks a question in relationship to what has been spoken in the previous verses. From the Word of God you should know that Paul stated so many things that prove God is for us. We can see that God is for us in sending the Lord Jesus Christ to die in our place. God is for us in that He has given us  an Intercessor in the Holy Spirit [verse 26]. God is for us in His eternal purpose. He works all things in that He has predestined us to be conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ [verse 29]. He is for us in that He has foreknown us, called us,  justified us,  and He has glorified us. When you start out in this world, and if you are a child of God, take great hope in the many ways in which God is for us, his people. He loves us and sent his son to die for us.  Wow, what a God we serve!  Remember if God is for you, who or what can be against you? He so declared that nothing, no one or no thing, can ever separate us from the love of the LORD. You and I have nothing to fear, nothing to doubt. GOD IS FOR US.
