 This is one of my favorite Psalms. The reason is that sinners have no idea that their raging is limited by the one they rage at. It is a blessed Psalm in that it gives Christ the holy one of God the due honor due him. Why is the question the Psalmist asks? Why is used often by all of us. Why does it not go my way, why am I sick, why am I not rich, why are my kids like they are? Many such like question enter the human mind. In this text why do the heathen rage and imagine a vain thing. See once a person realizes that raging at God is altogether vain. It rewards nothing but his wrath. He sits in the heaven and laughs at the raging of men. How is it with your soul today will you rage, complain, question the LORD it want work. The best advice I can give myself and you, this is the day that the Lord hath given us and what comes with comes from him also. Listen to the sermon about raging at the Lord. My God grant us peace and security in our hearts this day Amen
