July 2, 2007 Relationship It has been some time since I last wrote devotion but here it is. One of the things that this verse is teaching among many others is a proper relationship. Christianity in my understanding is built upon a constant relationship with the Father and his Son our Lord Jesus Christ. One without a doubt must be willing to walk day by day and with each passing moment with the LORD. We know that we have no relationship with the Father apart from salvation which is in and by and through the LORD JESUS CHRIST Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. To walk with the LORD is absolutely necessary for us to have relationship with him. Enoch was not for God took him for he had the testimony that he truly walked with the LORD. Walking with him 1. Shows our relationship. 2. Walking with him shows our need of him. 3. Walking with him strengthens our path day by day. 4. Walking with him provides our every need. 5. Walking with him gives great attention to him because he is worthy of all our attention. 6. Walking with him demands our daily conduct that is pleasing to him. Let us today by and with his great help have a lasting relationship with the Lord. May the GOD of all grace be with you all.
